BERNARD J RUSH
Millinocket - Bernard J. Rush, 74, died July 8, 1993, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born in Millinocket, May 9, 1919, the son of Frank W. and Agnes (Boynton) Rush. He was employed by the Frank W. Rush & Sons Lumber Co. and then became employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the Francis E. Elliott Post VFW. He was also a member of the Millinocket Lodge of Elks No. 1521. He is survived by his wife, Louise Rush of Millinocket; two sons, Gary and John Rush, both of Millinocket; two stepdaughters, Gail Lyons of Millinocket and Lois Gauvin of Eastport; two sisters, Agnes Bishop and Irene Miller; one brother, Richard Rush, all of Millinocket; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the James G. Dowd Funeral Home, Millinocket, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Patrick Seymour officiating. Burial will be in Millinocket Cemetery.
