Raphael James Rush
SILVER RIDGE - Raphael James Rush, 39, died unexpectedly Feb. 25, 1988, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Aug.24, 1948, at Houlton, the son of George and Mary (Seiles) Rush. He was employed by Great Northern Paper Company. Mr. Rush was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and a member of the Sherman Area VFW Post No. 2299. Surviving besides his parents of Benedicta are his wife, Karen Rush of Silver Ridge; one daughter, Raelene; one son, Jason; four sisters, Shirley Rogan of Millinocket, Debbie Irish and Maureen Qualey, both of Sherman Mills, Betty Neal of Dixmont; and one brother, Mathew Rush of Benedicta. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Mills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, with the Rev. George Hickey, celebrant. Burial will be in Sherman Mills Cemetery.
